I'm not going to lie, I was rather nervous and anxious to go on this trip.I would have never guessed that I would have truely enjoyed spending time in nature and discovering the philosophical depths with in nature as well. Over the two days we spent at Mt. KALSUBAI. I learned some important lessons of life from there. Yesterday I went to Kalsubai, #HIGHEST #PEAK in #MAHARASHTRA. It was my first trek done with group of professionals (101 in numbers). I reached at top of the mountain in 1 hr 50 minutes. It was a great feeling because I am
the first among 100 members who reached at top of the mount. Whole mountain is of 1,675 meters, until last 500 meters route is not filled with much of challenges but it tests your stamina. However last 500 meters does become interesting because of the Four Iron Ladders. There are Four Iron ladders constructed because of the steep slopes as you march ahead. Its not about height but its about those Four Iron Ladders which makes whole
journey an experience. But the real thrill is climbing the last ladder which eventually takes you to the highest surface in Maharashtra. Just imagine the concept of having ladder constructed 1,675 meters above. It is as terrifying as it sounds. The feeling you get is not something like standing on tallest building of metropolitan city and feel like the whole city is mine but it is feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction which pops a thought in your mind that may be this is how heaven looks (if it existed). This camping trip was a great experience for me. Being around nature, like we were, gave us the opportunity to understand our outside environment better. Being surrounded by nothing but trees, mountains, and the sky allows me to reflect and think about anything without disturbance. Being away from the routine of everyday life and getting to experience nothing but nature is something that I love doing and will continue to do my entire life. I like being outside. To me, being outside feels
like I'm interacting with the ROW. When I'm in my room, I feel closed off from everybody else, but when I'm outside, it feels like I'm sharing nature with everyone. On this trip, I felt that. I also felt cold. I also felt tired from
not getting much sleep. I experienced many firsts on this trip. I slept with a three guys in a tent (Pinkesh Sir, Suyash, and mah new friend Abhishek. This was a lot of fun. There is nothing more refreshing then breathing in morning air the second you wake up. Aside from that, our two day camping trip was by far my best experience. I felt my biggest accomplishment was connecting with my new friends.
